THE RULES


The requirements to join are Maturity, Loyalty and Respect.

We welcome players from both the free to play and pay to play communities of any age, any combat level and skill level.

The following rules are kept simple but are strictly enforced.


1. Maturity- we all have different opinions on certain subjects and at times Key Staff will ask for a Conversation to end.

2. Maturity- please don't ask for ranks or for free items including cash

3. Loyalty- This clan will not suit everyone but please inform a key member of staff should you leave.

4. Respect-  keep language and content clean- an occasional abbreviation may be overlooked but explicit swearing will not.

5. Respect all clan mates: NO putting anyone down because of Race...Colour...Beliefs... and such.

6. Respect- celebrate with your clanmates when they achieve a goal and don't see it as an opportunity to boast about a higher achievement you may have.

THE STRIPES

 (inactives) inactive clanmate- long lost clan members who are at risk of being removed from the clan

(corporal) recruits who are in their probationary period

 (sergeant) clan members who has successfully passed their probationary period- maturity and respect

THE STARS 

 (lieutenant) a clan member for 1 month+  *

 (captain) a clan member for 2 months +  *

 (general) legendary member

 (admin) temporary avatar wardens  

 (organiser) permanent avatar wardens / temporary event organisers

* to become a star you need to have been in the clan 4 weeks plus you give a little extra to the clan- cit skilling, recruiting, being helpful in the cc, lead events, attend events

**the co-ordinators are the next in line to be promoted to clan key staff.

PROMOTIONS:

Promotions are given at the end of each month. They are awarded for:

• Capping regularly

• Being chatty in the clanchat

• Being helpful to your clanmates

• Being welcoming to guests and other clan members

• Being mature, respectful and loyal

• Recruiting

• Being encouraging and positive in the clan chat

• Keeping the clan rules

• Bumping the recruitment thread

• Attending events

• Organising events- either scheduled or unscheduled

• Being active on the offsite forum

Every month, the key leaders will decide upon one of the above and judge who should be promoted that month. Please do not expect to be promoted every month.

In addition, a clan member can be promoted by recommendation from a key member of staff- that can happen at any time.

CAPPING OF THE CLAN MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS



In order to retain the sense of community and friendliness, the number in Dragon Country will be capped at 150.


When the number in clan reaches 140, only key staff will be able to recruit new members. Should the number in the clan drop below 140, it will revert back to everyone having permission to recruit.

We hold regular events and many spontaneous ones arranged by the clan members in the clan chat.

How to Join

Visit the clan chat Dragon Country and see whether you feel at home there.

Should you decide to join, ask for an invite. At times, you will have to wait for an invite due to a key not being online or because the clan is full. Please remain as a guest in the clan chat and you will be added as soon as possible.

THE HISTORY OF DRAGON COUNTRY


Dragon Country is a clan for Runescape Players.

RuneScape is one of the largest, most expansive online fantasy games on the web today. It has over 175 million registered accounts and a loyal following that continues to make incredible use of its bravery, intuition, cunning and wit to explore the game world, discovering adventure, battling rival clans and conquering a massive online world.

Dragon Country was formed on 16th October 2012 after a splinter group broke away from the clan Abyssal Gates.

The original owner was ItsCountry and the co-owners were Conan484, Busy Lizzie, Hissin and Wolf's Death.

April 2013

ItsCountry steps aside as leader then Busy Lizzie takes over as owner/ clan leader.

The tier 4 citadel becomes dilapidated so a recruitment drive is started after a cleaning of the membership list. The second avatar reaches 89% and the clan reaches 64 members.

May 2013

The second avatar is born and we begin weekly Grand Draws as we start to build our citadel to Tier 5. By the end of May we reach 47%. The clan now has 88 members.

June 2013

The Citadel is now Tier 5 and our 100th member joins. The clan reaches 121 members.  The clan citadel now has a clan theatre. We build a loom and an obelisk for craft and summoning xp respectively.

July 2013

The Grand Dragon Statue is completed and we start the upgrade to a tier 6 citadel, reaching 44% by the end of July ! We reach 140 members and recruitment is restricted for the first time ever.

August 2013

20th August 2013, we reach Tier 6 Citadel. We had a record 64 visitors to the citadel that week.


Some clan members organised a 90m drop party to celebrate!
20th August 2013, the new skill Divination was released and we began a race to 99 Divination.

September 2013

We continue to upgrade all the plots in the citadel to Tier 6. The Race to 99 Divination continues with no winner yet...
